Verse of the Week

"You are the light of the world. . . . let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven" (Matt. 5:14, 16).

I've noticed through the recent years that some Christians are timid in letting the light of God shine from them in the things they do. They seem to be more concernd with others confusing who receives glory and praise. Hummm, or maybe there is a complacency growing and their light is covered.
In either case, Christians have a God-given responsibility to shine the love and grace of God before others in ALL that we do. In fact, it's more a joy and privilege to do so. Let's be obedient to God and shine the light He has given us so that others will know to give glory to God in everything.
